Dozier Road reopened after floods

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery County Commissioner Reed Ingram tells WSFA 12 News that Dozier Road has been reopened to traffic.

The road was closed Saturday evening because of heavy rains. Water covered a large portion of the road surface and the decision was made to shut down a stretch from Montgomery to Elmore County.

Ingram said the road could be closed again at some point if rain brings in more flooding.
