Woman arrested in fatal church bus crash

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - A woman charged with assault and manslaughter during a Dothan vehicle crash has turned herself in.

Crystal Finnegan, 38, surrendered to authorities at the Dothan City Jail on Tuesday. She was wanted in connection with a June 29, 2008 crash that happened in the 400 block of Ross Clark Circle. 

The accident involved the vehicle Finnegan was driving and a 2004 Ford Church Bus from Lexington, Kentucky that had 21 passengers plus the driver.

Finnegan was charged with one count of Manslaughter and Two Counts of Assault First Degree; she was later transferred to Houston County Jail with a bond set at $40,000.00
