Woman indicted in church bus crash in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - A Georgia woman faces multiple felonies, including manslaughter, for a deadly wreck in Dothan that left her 11-year-old son dead.

Dothan police said the indictment was returned against 38-year-old Crystal Finnegan. The pickup Finnegan was driving crashed into church bus from Lexington, Ky., on June 29, 2008.

Finnegan was also charged with two counts of first-degree assault after two people were injured and hospitalized. The church bus was transporting 21 students to a camp in Panama City, Fla., at the time of the wreck.

Finnegan was released from custody on $40,000 bond.
