New Lowe's store coming to Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Home improvement customers will soon have another option when it comes to shopping in the capital city.

The Chantilly Station development in east Montgomery is expanding according to the real estate firm McClinton & Company.

The development opened a Wal-Mart Supercenter in 2007 and is planning to expand its offerings with a new Lowe's Home Improvement store in the near future.

The Lowe's store will encompass some 117,000 squart feet of retail space and is expected to open at some point in 2010.

The real estate firm says plans are in the works to open four Prime Outparcel locations as well.
