UA set to raise tuition

Huntsville, Ala. (WSFA) -- Get ready to pay more for tuition at the 3 main University of Alabama schools.

A tough economy has forced administrators to cut back in certain areas and raise tuition.   The UA system board of trustees voted Friday to raise tuition. It will save the schools $1.6 million.

The trustees also voted for a realignment at UAB to include dropping 2 departments.
