It's a trip back to the 1800's and its just a short drive to Loachapoka. On April 24-th and 25-th the Lee Co. Historical Society will host the first ever Lee County Gathering.
The trip back in time will take you to a blacksmith shop where you can see a knife being hammered out. You can walking into an old sewing room and see how long it took to make blankets and belts and stuff we all take for granted these days. Plus you can see first hand how they cooked their meat and their treats, it'll give your a whole new appreciation when you think about rotisserie.
