Montgomery looking to lure new visitors

The Chamber of Commerce is releasing new video in hopes of attracting visitors from around the world to visit the city's historic sites and new tourist spots.  The video has been in the works for the last six months, but not many people have seen it until now.  The video spotlights destinations like the State Capitol, Dexter Avenue King Memorial Church, Riverwalk Stadium, the Hank Williams Museum, even shopping venues. The video also spotlights the nationally renown Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and the Montgomery Zoo.

The video lasts a little over 12 minutes and will be played at the Visitor Center inside Union Station downtown.  You'll also be able to watch it on the Chamber's new web site, which is under construction.

The Chamber is hoping to make the video available in hotel rooms.  It's even asking the Montgomery Performing Arts Center to show it before some of its events.

You can view the video for yourself.  WSFA 12 News has streamed the full 12 minutes on our homepage of WSFA.com.
