Troopers looking for other vehicle in fatal crash

SELMA, AL (WSFA) - Three people are were killed in a car accident and the Selma Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding the other automobile.

Demetrius, Don and Josphn Moseley, all of Georgia, were killed when the 1998 Ford Escort they were riding in collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 219 and Dallas County Road 28, or Moore's Ferry Road, in the early morning hours of April 18th.

State Troopers say the scene indicated the Escort failed to yield the right of way to the other vehicle and that the other vehicle may not have known about the crash at the time it happened.

The other vehicle is thought to be a tractor-trailer type commercial vehicle that was traveling north on Alabama 219. It may have damage to the undercarriage or wheels and tires on the trailer. There may also be blue paint from the Moseleys' Escort on the vehicle.

If you know anything that could help authorities with their investigation you are asked to please call the Selma State Trooper Post at 334-874-8234.
