Eclectic Man in Child Sex Case Sentenced for Fraud

An Eclectic man previously sentenced for traveling to Vietnam to engage in illicit sexual conduct with underage girls has had 10 more years added to his sentence for passport fraud.

U.S. Attorney Leura G. Canary announced Tuesday that 62-year-old George Hoey Morris was sentenced for willfully and knowingly making a false statement in a passport application. Morris received a sentence of 75 years after being found guilty of transportation for illegal sexual activity and visa fraud.

The investigation began when federal agents discovered Morris was seeking a copyright for a self-published book, titled, that tells men how to find girls in foreign countries for sex and marriage.
