Burra Ridge, IL (WSFA) -- Bo knows baseball. Bo knows football. Now, Bo knows banking! Former pro- and Auburn University football icon Bo Jackson, is now a partner in a suburban Chicago bank.
Burr Ride Bank and Trust opened Tuesday. Jackson said the global economic crisis is no match for his business goals. "We have no type of debt, like all the other banks. We're a small community bank and one thing we all decided, is that if we are going to do a bank in our community, it needs to be owned by the people who live in the community."
Jackson did want to stress he is not the only owner of the bank.
Bo Jackson is the only player to be named to the NFL Pro Bowl and MLB's all-star-game.
