Covering Lee County: Flu concerns prompt EAMC to take extra precautions

Opelika, Ala. (WSFA) -- It's a litter harder to visit patients at the East Alabama Medical Center.

The hospital is asking all visitors under the age of 13 and anyone who is not immediate family to call patients instead of visiting.

There have are no confirmed cases of swine flu in east Alabama, but hospital officials say they expect that to change.

WSFA 12 News checked with Montgomery's two hospitals, and officials  say there are no plans to change visiting hours in Montgomery.
