Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- A strong line of thunderstorm stretching from the Alabama/Florida state line to north of Birmingham are moving across the state.
There are reports of numerous trees down in several counties. Alabama Power officials now say 9200 people are without electricity and that number continues to grow. They do have crews working right now. Officials say it could be well into the night before power is restored in some areas.
Montgomery County sheriff's office says there are no reports of major property damage and no injuries in Montgomery county.
