The controversial water tower in downtown Montgomery appeared on the city council agenda Tuesday. The council decided to table the resolution for now. They want to help resolve the situation before getting the Attorney General involved.
The water tower serves as the gateway to the Alleyway downtown. It's actually the old water tank that sat on top of one of the buildings. Historic preservationist say the tower shouldn't have been moved.
