Verbena Elementary student killed in accident

WSFA 12 News confirms a fourth grade student at Verbena Elementary was struck and killed by a car Monday afternoon.  Verbena Principal, Larry Raines tells WSFA 12 News, the little girl was riding her bike to meet friends when the accident happened. 

The school will have counselors on hand to help students deal with the loss.
