Parents learn life lessons at Montgomery's newest school

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- Parents got a lesson about life at Montgomery's newest junior high school.

The administration at Johnnie Carr Middle School held an orientation meeting for parents whose children are zoned for the school.

They got to meet the principal,teachers and staff.

The school is scheduled to open in the fall.  It will house over 800 students, initial attendance is at 600.
