ATLANTA, GA (WSFA) - The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta has "denied" Former Governor Don Siegelman's appeal for hearing before the whole court. Siegelman's appeal was denied before a three judge panel in March and now the 11th Circuit has rejected the request as well. Now the federal judge in the case, Judge Mark Fuller, has to wait for an order from the appellate court before setting a resentencing date for Siegelman.
