Kindergarten Pre-registration Information for Montgomery Public Schools

  

KINDERGARTEN PRE-REGISTRATION

  

MONTGOMERY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

  

WILL HOLD

  

SYSTEM-WIDE KINDERGARTEN PRE-REGISTRATION

  

FOR THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR

  

EARLY REGISTRATION

  

WHEN:            May 18, 2009 - June 10, 2009

TIME:              9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

WHERE:         At all elementary sites

   

Please invite your friends and neighbors who have children who will be five years old on or before September 2, 2009.

  

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

  

  • 1. Child's certified birth certificate
  • 2. Immunization certificate
  • 3. Child's Social Security card (card required)
  • 4. Proof of residence (lease, gas, or electric bill) no on-line copies
  • 5. Parent's photo identification
  • 6. Parents without a confirmed address must present the following:
  • a. A notarized statement stating that the parents and enrolling student(s) are living at a given address and utility bill (gas or electric) showing the name and address of the homeowner that the family is living with at the given address to the Student Support Services/PALS Office and complete a Home Verification Form.
  • b. Student(s) will be permitted to enroll at the zone school for 30 days pending verification of the home address.

Note: After May 29, 2009, schools may be closed at various times during the registration period for meetings and to allow vacation time for school personnel.  Please call your local school to ensure someone will be there to assist you.
