Dothan, Ala. (WSFA) -- The city of Dothan puts its share of stimulus money to good use. City officials approved several projects this week.

Some include sidewalk renovations, repairing drainage problems and hiring student workers during the summer.

"It goes to show that the city of Dothan's leadership and it's department heads are committed to finding all the possible uses for stimulus funds," said city manager Mike West.

Several road projects will also begin in the coming weeks.
