MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - An Alabama state trooper is recovering after he flipped his patrol car on U.S. 431 in Calhoun County.

Investigators say the trooper was running with blue lights and siren pursuing a car, but another vehicle pulled into his lane forcing him to leave the road. His car hit a culvert and flipped. Fortunately, officials expect the trooper to recover fully.
