Update: State EMA officials assess Greenville flooding

Greenville, Ala. (WSFA) -- State EMA officials were in Greenville Thursday assessing the damage after Wednesday's flooding.

The city is hoping to get federal aid, but Mayor Dexter Mclendon says he doesn't think there's enough damage to even get FEMA to survey the area.

Right now city officials are still surveying and adding up the damage.
