Colonial bank names new leader

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- Montgomery based Colonial Bancgroup has announced new leadership effective Thursday.

The bank confirmed Simuel Sippial, Junior was named Chairman of the Boards of Directors.

Also, Lewis Beville was appointed President and CEO.

Both men already work for Colonial and will replace Bobby Lowder who announced a surprise retirement last week.
