Dunn to seek Treasure's office

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The elections won't take place for more than another year, but candidates are already lining up. The latest announcement comes from Terry Dunn, a member of the State Republican Executive Committee.

Dunn says he will seek the office of State Treasurer. "My goal is to serve the citizens of Alabama by assuring that the most efficient banking, investment and financial management services are provided for the State of Alabama," Dunn said on his website announcement. "I will be a cautious steward of the taxpayers' money."

Dunn, an Etowah County resident, also serves as a Trustee at the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.

He's been married to his wife Alicia for 28 years and the couple has one daughter, Andrea.
