Original Tuskegee Airman Dies

One of the country's original Tuskegee Airmen has died.

James Travis was one of the nation's first black military pilots during World War II. He trained as an aerial engineer, gunner and crew chief, serving with the 447th Bombardment Group at several bases.

The 86-year-old died at his Cleveland home of natural causes.
