Electronics recycling event taking place Friday

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- If the Big Switch has you moving onto a new T. V., you can recycle your old television sets.

The Montgomery Clean City Commission sponsors the event.  It will cost you about $10.00 to recycle your T. V.'s, but it's free to recycle everything else from  printers to answering machines.

If you have any questions on what can and can not be recycled call the Montgomery Clean City Commission at 241-2175.

The event is being held Friday, June 12th at Paterson field from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
