AU's Savage injured

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn defensive back Aairon Savage has sustained another injury.

Auburn coach Gene Chizik said in a statement Tuesday that Savage was injured during a workout.

He said the injury was still being evaluated by Auburn's medical staff and did not provide further details.

Savage missed last season after undergoing knee surgery.

He was limited during spring practice to allow more time to recuperate from the operation.

He had 53 tackles as a redshirt freshman and was limited the following season by shoulder and ankle problems.
