Greenville Middle School split

Butler County school superintendent Mike Looney tells WSFA 12 News, the board approved a split of Greenville Middle School Thursday night.

The action means certain buildings on campus will only be used for grades five and six and others for seven and eight.  The lower school and upper school will have separate principals.

The change takes place immediately for the 750 students.
