Dothan, AL (WSFA) - State Attorney General Troy King decided against investigating a complaint filed by a Dothan Police Officer.

A few days ago Dothan City Manager Mike West sent a letter to King requesting that he investigate allegations made by Officer Raemonica Carney.

Carney alleges the Dothan Ciy Attorney and Police Chief used coercion and intimidation when asking her questions about an incident involving the Police Department two years ago.

Today, the Attorney General sent the city a letter saying he doesn't see a reason to get involved.

City Manager Mike West says despite the decision, he's pleased with the Houston County Sheriff's decision to now include the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
