Samson, AL (WSFA) - A Samson man is found guilty of first degree manslaughter.

A jury convicted 20-year-old Matthew Leske with the death of Brent Cook in December 2007.

Authorities say Cook went over to Leske's girlfriend's house, and the two had an altercation.

They say that's when Leske pulled out a rifle and shot and killed Cook.

Investigators say Leske claims it was an accident.

He'll be sentenced August 6th.
