Four MPS board members headed to Wisconsin

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Four members of the Montgomery County School Board will travel to Madison, Wisconsin on June 25, 2009 to visit the hometown of a superintendent finalist.

Board members Beverly Ross, Melissa Snowden, Charlotte Meadows and Robert Porterfield will travel to Wisconsin to visit  Barbara Thompson.

The members will leave Madison on the morning of June 27.

Thompson is planning an itinerary for the Board to meet with representatives of her former district, Madison, and her current district, New Glarus, on the 26th.

The cost of the flights for the Board members is $463 per person, but the cost of lodging has still yet to be confirmed.
