Update: Jury hands down verdict in Katopodis trial

Birmingham, Ala. (AP & WSFA) - -Guilty on all 97 counts.  That's the verdict from a Birmingham jury in the federal fraud trial of John Katopodis.

The former Birmingham and Jefferson county politician convicted of stealing over $160,000 from a charity he co-founded that was supposed to help needy children.

Katopodis, former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy and Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford formed Computer Help for Kids nine years ago.

Katopodis was arrested immediately and will be held until sentencing.
