Jackson Hospital gets new chief

MONTGOMERY, AL - Christopher R. Duggar, MD has been selected as Jackson Hospital's new Chief of Staff effective July 1, 2009.  Dr. Duggar will serve as chief of staff for one year, and is replacing Steven A. Barrington, MD of Alabama Orthopaedics Specialists, P.A.

Part of the medical staff at Jackson Hospital since July 2002, Dr. Duggar practices with his father Dr. Roger Duggar and Dr. Edward W. Reed at Central Alabama OB-Gyn Associates.  He is certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and received his medical degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine.  Dr. Duggar completed an internship and residency at Orlando Regional Healthcare System.

Dr. Duggar is married and the father of four children.
