Co. commissioner to be named soon

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Governor Bob Riley says he's close to naming a replacement for former Montgomery County Commissioner Todd Strange.

The governor tells WSFA 12 News the replacement will be named within the week, and he calls the person a "real asset."

The position has been open since Strange's election as Montgomery mayor back in March.
