PIKE ROAD, AL (WSFA) - Wilma Henderson is glad the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office broke up a fight near her house in Pike Road.
"The sheriff is never out here. This is a quiet neighborhood," she says.
But it's not the first time they've come to the intersection of Harvey Jones and Morning Star road.
"First shift was called out here today, and the Sheriff's office was called out here before. There were no warrants signed at that time that we know of," says Lt. Scott Cone.
Officials with the Sheriff's office say it all started Wednesday morning when they responded to a dispute between neighbors.
They then got a call around 6:30pm to the same location, this time finding one man with stab wounds and another person with a small head wound.
Deputies say they took four people in for questioning including the person responsible for the stabbing.
"The evidence techs now are processing the scene. There's some shell casings on the ground, two weapons were recovered."
Officials say they don't know what caused the dispute. The victim of the stabbing was transported to Baptist South.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
