AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn players say there's no mistaking coach Gene Chizik is serious about discipline on the team.
Quarterback Neil Caudle said there are no gray areas in rules for the Tigers. He and other players say several reserves have been dismissed for violating team rules.
Auburn hasn't identified those players, but the message was apparently received.
Chizik said he strives for fairness in handling issues with players, giving warnings and other punishments before taking more extreme steps. He said that encompasses everything from attending class to practice habits. Chizik said if players refuse to cooperate, they won't get to stick around.
