Has your child read more books or seen more movies this summer?
School begins in three weeks and maintaining reading progress during the summer will get the year off to a great start for students.
Cheers to the more than 25-hundred children who checked out more than 10,000 books through the Summer Reading on Wheels program.
Cheers as well to the Montgomery Education Foundation for making the program possible the past five years, along with Montgomery Public Schools, the County Commission and the City-County Public Library.
It's always a good time to visit a library and check out books, but the summer in particular is key. There's more time to read.
Reading regularly all year will be a key to success in school and life.
