It was a deadly weekend on Alabama's roadways. State troopers say at least 6 people died including a Montgomery man. 55 year old Mark Chestnutt died when the vehicle he was driving ran off a south Montgomery County road and overturned after 4:00 Saturday afternoon. Troopers said the wreck happened about 15 miles south of Montgomery city limits. They also say Chesnutt was not wearing a seat belt.
In Baldwin County, 2 men died when their car went off Interstate 10 and ended up in a bay. A 43 year old woman died in Shelby County when she fell out of a truck. In north Alabama, a 34 year old Anniston died when his car ran off the road and overturned. A 20 year old man died in Boaz, and a 22 year old man died near Mobile.
