Man tries to rob Auburn pizza store

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - The Auburn Police Department is looking for a pizza store robbery suspect. The man walked into the Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs restaurant on South College Street just before midnight Sunday.

The employee at the register told police that the man walked into the store, pulled a pistol and demanded money from the register. When the employee ran to the back of the store the suspect fled the scene in a dark colored sedan.

Police say no one was hurt in the incident and nothing was stolen.

The suspect has shoulder-length hair, is approximately 30 years of age and six feet tall. He was wearing a dark colored shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
