BAKERHILL, AL (WSFA) - The sour economy hit another Alabama County Monday. More than 330 people are losing their jobs in Barbour County as KeyStone Foods makes cuts.
The company cuts will affect employees at its Equity Eufaula facility in BakerHill "to maximize operational efficiencies and strengthen our business."
Company officials say they're working with the union and will recall workers if and when they're needed.
The remaining 1,300 employees at the facility will keep their jobs.
