AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Kodi Burns made two big moves during fall camp.
The Auburn player switched to receiver after failing to claim the starting spot at quarterback. Perhaps equally important, he stood up shortly after getting that news and told his teammates that the coaches made the right move in handing the job to Chris Todd.
With that, Burns stamped out the division that players said infected the team last season.
Burns is expected to be in the Tigers' six-man rotation at receiver, an area that needed the help.
He also gives Auburn a potential threat as a wildcat quarterback.
Burns is having to work overtime mastering his new position and also staying after practice to work at quarterback with offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn.
