HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are searching for an Alabama inmate who walked away from a work-release job in Madison County.
The Department of Corrections said 40-year-old Burton Charles Wulff was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at his job site. He was wearing blue jeans and a red cap but didn't have a shirt.
Wulff was serving time for a 2005 conviction in Russell County for manufacturing a controlled substance.
Corrections spokesman Brian Corbett said Wulff was denied parole earlier this month and his next parole date would have been August 2011.
