Arrest made in $23,000 theft case

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department says it has arrested a suspect in the theft of more than $23,000 worth of goods from a local company.

The man caught on surveillance footage was identified as 18-year-old Keenan Matthew Gadson.

Gadson turned himself in to authorities after a relative contacted him to say they'd seen him on the local news.

The 18-year-old stole assorted vehicle parts and accessories from Gulf Diesel Services, Inc. at 203 Race Street.

Gadson is charged with Theft 1st Degree.
