Escape #2 for man at Crenshaw Co. jail

CRENSHAW CO., AL  (WSFA) - A manhunt is underway once again for an escaped inmate in Crenshaw County.

According to Sheriff Charles West, inmate Jeremy Baggett broke out of jail for the second time just after 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Baggett escaped and was captured for a first time on July 24th. Officers nabbed him at the corner of Davis Bond Road and Ballard Road in Crenshaw County.

Baggett was serving time for domestic violence, burglary and criminal mischief, plus a felony escape charge from the last time he ran.
