Seven ladies arrested in latest sting

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The city of Montgomery conducted its third prostitution sting on the Mobile Highway in as many weeks; this time the arrests were all women.

In the two previous stings female cops dressed as prostitutes waited on the men to offer sex for money.

The tables turned Wednesday as undercover male officers waited on the women.

In all, seven females were taken into custody.

They are identified as:

1.  Joyce Herrero, 36, of W. South Boulevard

2.  Lori LaFont, 44, of Mobile Hwy

3. Stephanie Williams, 41, of Bragg Street 

4.  Juwanna Pritchett, 41, of S. Haardt Drive 

5. Zelda Scott, 32, of S. Perry Street 

6.  Peggy Oliver, 41, of W. Patton Avenue 

7.  Pamela Pinkston, 40, of North Pass Road 

The suspects were booked on solicitation of prostitution charges, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.
