AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Mississippi State and Auburn bring new coaches, new offenses and new hope into Saturday night's meeting.
That means the Tigers and Bulldogs aren't predicting a repeat of last year's 3-2 Auburn victory.
It's the Southeastern Conference debut as head coaches for Mississippi State's Dan Mullen and Auburn's Gene Chizik. Both had easy opening wins.
Mullen's first game since leaving Tim Tebow and Florida produced a 45-7 win over Jackson State, the most points Mississippi State had produced since 2002. Chizik and the Tigers pounded Louisiana Tech 37-13 and their 556 yards were the team's most since 2005.
Kickoff is 6 p.m.
