Daniel Pratt Teacher a Class Act

Posted by: Judd Davis - bio | email

Prattville, AL (WSFA) -  She has them singing, dancing and learning at the same time.    That's what happens in Ms. De White's class at Daniel Pratt Elementary School in Prattville.    "I'm real big into hands on learning so we're never in our seats too long," De White said.

Ms. White has been in the classroom for 4 years, but she's been teaching for quite some time.  "I taught dance in high school so I knew teaching kids was my passion.  When that light bulb clicks on, that's what I live for."

And the way she has them bouncing around, enjoying every minute of class, these kids are learning a lot.      "I love my first graders so much, they learn to add and subtract and read at this level, and I get to see how far they've come."

Congratulations Ms. White you're this week's Class Act.
