Missing man found, injured in wreck

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - WSFA 12 News sent out breaking news emails earlier Tuesday about an Alabama Missing Senior Alert issued on Mr. James A. Leaptrot.

Leaptrot has been found, though he'd been in a car accident.

According to a Long County, Ga. Sheriff's deputy, Leaptrot flipped his car. He was taken to Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Ga. where he is said to be in stable condition.

Leaptrot, who suffers from Alzheimer's and is diabetic, had been missing for more than a day.

The Alabama Department of Public Safety issued the alert on the Georgia man after reports of him being spotted in Macon County.

The alert has since been canceled.
