KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin says Auburn's offense is similar to that of No. 1 Florida's but worse.
The Tigers (4-0) use a similar spread to the Gators' scheme, but with more misdirection and shifting. That makes it hard to defend.
Auburn and Florida are tied with the third most productive offenses in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Both are averaging 526.25 yards per game, though the Gators have scored one more touchdown.
The Vols (2-1) had mild success in limiting Florida in a 23-13 loss in Gainesville to 323 yards and 23 points - well under its average of about 45 points. That's the same number of points Auburn is averaging.
