26 busted in East Ala. drug investigation

OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) - A three month long drug investigation among multiple East Alabama law enforcement agencies nets 26 arrests.

The Lee, Tallapoosa and Chambers county sheriff's offices, as well as the Auburn and Opelika police departments joined forces for the investigation that targeted individuals who were purchasing over the legal amount of pseudoephedrine.

They released a list of arrests including:

  • Bobby Dale Vaughn (46), of Salem, Alabama

  • Daniel Mclaughlin (29), of Opelika, Alabama
    One (1) count Unlawful Possession of a Precursor
      
  • Kelly Estelle Ison (21), of Auburn, Alabama
    One (1) count Unlawful Possession of a Precursor
  • Shane Allen Burch (33), of Auburn, Alabama
    One (1) count Unlawful Possession of a Precursor
      
  • Tami Leigh Yates (36), of Opelika, Alabama
    One (1) count Unlawful Possession of a Precursor
      
  • Daniel Tammer Denny (23) , of Opelika, Alabama
    One (1) count Unlawful Possession of a Precursor
      
  • Iris Suzanne Deas (41), of Valley, Alabama

  • Jason Scott Helms (35), of Opelika, Alabama
