MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A popular destination in the capital city, the Harriott II riverboat, is looking for a new captain.
The search started after Captain John Bull, who brought the Harriott II to Montgomery after a 1,400 mile journey from Savannah, Georgia resigned his post.
Apparently, Bull and the city could not agree on a new contract and the two parted ways.
Several candidates have stepped forward to apply for the position.
City officials say they don't forsee any disruptions in the riverboat's schedule.
