Two-Alarm Fire sparks investigation

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- Montgomery fire investigators are looking into a 2-Alarm Fire.

Montgomery fire officials tell WSFA 12 News the fire started around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Peddler's Inn on Mobile Highway.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in only a few hours. However, the blaze damaged 2 rooms, and some people had to be evacuated.

Thankfully, no one was injured.  The fire is under investigation.
